Hey Sharks!
As it probably is for many of you '23-'24 Wizards that just sounds funny. Sharks. But that's what we are now. Though, in private, I'm going to call us the WizarKs. No? How about Sharkzards then? Yuck! Ah, well. Whatever. It'll be all good!
Anyway, this is your new Team Manager, Bob Bray. And despite having the same last name, home address, family members, and - lucky for her - look very similar, I am in no way related to your teammate, Joy. I'll be sending out other team information in the next couple of days but, right now….
If you haven't heard already, mark your calendars for the 2024-25 Season Kickoff Skate and Cookout is happening on SATURDAY, AUGUST 10TH from 11AM - 2PM in NORTHFORD.
From 11 - 12pm players from the Yale Women's team will lead on-ice skill sessions in two rinks. Immediately followed by a cookout for Sharks and their families from 12 - 2 pm. Aside from the chance to be on the ice with Yale players, it's an awesome day that gives our amazing Sharks community a chance to connect.
If you're able to volunteer for this event please let me know and I'll get you to the right person heading it up.
